We just ordered 5 parachutes for our upcoming project on Art and the Environment Breaking Circus Collective is a Black-led contemporary circus company of artists operating in Kjipuktuk Mi'kma'ki (Halifax, NS). This is the ancestral, unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Mi'kmaq People. This territory is covered by the Treaties of Peace and Friendship which Mikmaq W?last?kwiyik (Maliseet), and Passamaquoddy Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1726. We are learning what it means to be responsible to one another and to the land and as artists we are grateful to work and live here.
