Howdy from Homer, I am a group leader for our local chapter of Citizens Climate Lobby in Homer, Alaska. We are currently working on a legislative fee on carbon at production both nationally and in state. Together with Alaska Know Climate change and Alaska Youth for Environmental Action (AYEA) we are supporting a state wide ban on single use plastic bags. AYEA has a summit in Sept. and we have Mavis Mueller's Burning Basket in Sept. Both would be wonderful opportunites to engage local schools in the decoration of a parachute and introducing MEP''s projects.
