My name is Mike Selmer. I am a climate activist in Laramie, WY. We are in the middle of coal country, but we have been working to raise awareness and encourage action on climate change. We have done climate actions and have begun holding #FridaysforFuture climate strikes at different locations around town. We are also trying to get the City of Laramie to commit to being carbon neutral by 2030. Our community has a tree-planting program that helps residents with trees and planting. The city also has a recycling program and a large mulch and composting program.
