The Eco Club's parachute was displayed during Founders Day at Sidwell Friends School, which attracts alumni from around the US. It brings together the extended Sidwell community. It was a great opportunity to show the parachute and promote environmental awareness! In fact, Head of School Bryan Garman read Dr. Seuss's "The Lorax" book to the entire PK-12 student body, a book about deforestation. Last Friday, our Eco club completed our parachute after a little over two weeks of intense parachute art sessions:). We are really happy with the result and currently have it hung in the hallway near the entrance of the upper school!
