The Somerset Elementary School is the pilot program for the Mother Earth Project and the Parachutes For The Planet. Working with Art Teacher Lynn Lewis has been a collaborative process and it was in her classroom that the idea of the parachutes and being inspired by the HIV/AIDS Quilt Exhibitions in the 1990s began.
